Ed Phillips, Jr. began practicing law in San Antonio, TX in 1976. In October, 2015, he relocated his practice to Boerne in the Texas Hill Country.
In addition to counseling with business and individual clients, Ed has significant experience practicing in state and federal courts in cases involving businesses, collections, creditor's rights, general corporate matters and estate matters. In addition to Ed's civil practice, Ed serves as the Presiding Municipal Court Judge for the four separate communities of Boerne, Cibolo, and Live Oak. As a result, Ed is well versed in the traffic laws and procedures which exist in the State of Texas.
Education:
Ed earned his B.B.A. in Adverstising and Marketing from Texas Tech University in 1972. Thereafter, in 1976, Ed received his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law.

Ed is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States Federal District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. Ed is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Municipal Courts Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association Fee Dispute Committee, the San Antonio Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Kendall County Bar Association. Ed is AV rated in Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
